2025-2026  SABRE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION  JSHL PROGRAM

The JSHL Returns this year to BOTH All Seasons Ice Arena AND Rocket Ice. Pick you rink preference during registration!!!!

The JSHL serves as an introductory hockey program for our youngest athletes who are eager to work towards travel hockey in their future, and as a bridge program for any older athletes under the age of 10 who may have just learned how to skate and are eager to learn what it’s like to be a part of a hockey team. The JSHL offers in-house hockey training and games with a much smaller time and financial commitment than travel hockey.

Each year our JSHL is broken down into different divisions, and defining those divisions is entirely dependent on the breakdown of participation. Our Hockey Committee is always prepared with multiple plans to ensure that all kids under 10 years of age will have a place in the JSHL. Following JSHL Evaluations, players will be divided into 8 evenly distributed teams within competitively appropriate divisions based on both age and ability

***JSHL evaluations will be held on the weekend of September 12th & 13th. Exact times and locations are TBA**

• Practices will begin on Tuesday, September 16.
• The Season will run from September 16th through March 15th.
• There will be weeks with no programming due to holidays.
• All Seasons Teams will train on Tuesday and Friday evenings, with Games on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
• Rocket Teams will train on Monday and Friday evenings, with Games on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
• Cross-Division games are possible throughout the season.
• Team Coaches will be volunteer based. Foundational training plans will be directed by the Sabre Hockey Committee.
• If you would be interested in volunteering to help coach, please mark that option during registration and the Hockey Director will reach out.
• In-house games are Half-Ice to encourage more puck touches and developing our beginning skaters fine motor skills.
• All teams will participate in their respective JSHL Championship Sunday.

***Games will be on Saturdays or Sundays. One game per week. You will have the schedule in advance***

A Non-Refundable $100 Evaluation Fee will be due at the time of registration (included in pricing above). Fee will be waived for any player placed in the JSHL from travel tryouts.  

*Jr Sabre House League (JSHL) Registration will remain open based on availability.

The program cost can be paid in full or a payment plan of 6 months can be set up at time of registration. Payments will be automatically deducted on 9/25, 10/25, 11/25, 12/25, 1/25 & 2/25

During registration, each player will pay $200 for 10 Raffle Tickets in addition to their team registration fees.

Families with multiple club players will pay $200 per player during registration, HOWEVER the requirement is only $200 per family. If you are a family with multiple players, please email djules@sabrehockey.com BY 10/1/2025 (NO EXCEPTIONS) and the additional fees can be reversed. Once tickets have been distributed refunds cannot be issued.

Families have the option to enter these tickets under their name OR sell the tickets to recoup their cost.
