Fundraising
🏒 Help Support Our Youth Hockey Club!
The Sabre Hockey Association is a non-profit youth hockey organization dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the ice. Our mission is to provide a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment where kids can grow their skills, build character, and make lifelong friendships.
Why We Fundraise
Ice time, equipment, coaching, travel, and tournament fees all add up. As a non-profit, we rely on fundraising, generous donations and community support to keep registration fees and costs manageable for our families.
Your Support Makes a Difference!
Funds raised go directly toward:
- Annual Sabre Fundraising and Community Building Events
- Welcome Back Bash
- Sabre Social
- End of Season Awards Ceremony
- The Lori Maly Fund
- Designed to help families experiencing short-term, financial hardships
- Sabre Equipment Needs and Upgrades
- Long Term Capital Investments with our Home Rink Partners
Whether you're a local business, a hockey fan, or a supportive community member, your donation helps us build the future of youth hockey. Check out our Sponsorship Packages here. Up to 50% of select packages goes toward the attributed family's individual hockey fees.
Annual Raffle Ticket Fundraiser
As part of the fall registration, families will be charged $200 for the raffle ticket fundraiser. Each Sabre family will then receive 20 raffle tickets and have the option of selling those tickets to recoup up to $200 of their raffle ticket fee.
The annual raffle ticket fundraiser commitment and $200 fee is per family, not per player. The funds raised go directly towards the priorities mentioned above.
If you have any questions regarding fundraising, please email our Fundraising committee at fundraising@sabrehockey.com.

TEAM FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
In addition to raising funds that directly support the overall operations and development of the Sabre Hockey Association, we encourage teams to generate funds that will be allocated to individual team slush funds.
Fundraising as a team can help manage individual team expenses more effectively, allowing for better resource allocation for tournaments, training, and team-building activities while assisting in offsetting the cost to our families.
Examples of team fundraising efforts include apparel, fall flower and holiday wreath sales.
Contact your team manager to discuss team fundraising opportunities.
